You can apply for the visa only if your total score is 80 points or above. The maximum possible score is 170 points.
The higher the score, the longer your residence period — from a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 5 years.

[Age]

Based on the date of birth listed in your passport as of the application date.

[Education]

Only degrees verified by the issuing institution are recognized.
※ If you have multiple degrees (regardless of field), only the highest scoring degree is counted.

[Korean Language Proficiency]

Recognized through TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) or KIIP (Korea Immigration & Integration Program) levels.

[Annual Income]

Based on the taxable income listed in the most recent year’s tax certificate issued by the Korean tax office.

✅ F-2-7 Point Table / Additional and Deduction Items

[Additional Points]

• (Prestigious University): Top 200 (Times Higher Education), Top 500 (QS), or other universities recognized by the Ministry of Justice.
• If holding multiple degrees, only the highest bonus is applied.
• (Korean Volunteer Activity): Must have participated at least 6 times per year and 50 hours total within the last 3 years.
• Only recognized if verified through 1365 Volunteer Portal or Social Welfare Volunteer Certification System.

[Deduction]

• Immigration Law Violations: fines, deportation, or removal orders within the past 3–5 years.
• Criminal penalties: fines or convictions within the last 3 years. (Those fined over 3 million KRW or with heavier penalties are disqualified.)
