BIGO LIVE launched as a mobile broadcasting platform in 2016 and released its services in Korea in September of the same year. BIGO Live Korea operates a content ecosystem where agencies, hosts, and viewers work together, going beyond a simple broadcasting app. Hosts register through agencies and conduct live broadcasts on mobile and PC, generating revenue through viewer sponsorship items. Sponsorship received during broadcasts is paid in beans, and the accumulated beans can be exchanged according to set criteria. Additionally, hosts can receive extra support based on their rank and performance, creating a structure for creators to grow steadily. The platform offers various social features such as multi-live, direct messaging, audio live, and PK, supporting immersive interactions between fans and hosts. In particular, the PK feature conducts real-time competitions between hosts based on fan sponsorships, enhancing the fun and engagement of broadcasts while providing opportunities for event rewards. BIGO Live Korea maintains a safe and healthy broadcasting environment through operational standards such as minor protection, clean content policies, and simultaneous broadcasting restrictions. Furthermore, it provides growth opportunities for outstanding hosts through annual and year-end gala awards and global events, including awards, stage participation, and support for travel and accommodation. BIGO Live Korea will offer creators revenue and a global stage, agencies a systematic partnership model, and users vibrant live entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Discovering new hosts and conducting initial verification - Managing host test broadcast guidance and contract procedures - Providing broadcasting guidelines, settlement criteria, and regulations to hosts - Managing the broadcast schedule and performance of affiliated hosts - Checking monthly broadcast hours, bean revenue, and valid host criteria - Managing promotional and event application within the platform, including top picks, landing pages, and KPI rewards - Preventing violations and managing risks associated with affiliated hosts - Responsible for operational communication between BIGO Live Korea and hosts
Requirements
- Individuals, teams, or businesses capable of recruiting creators or broadcasting personnel - Must be able to secure at least 3 hosts - Must possess operational capabilities to provide host training, management, and settlement guidance - Partners who can comply with BIGO LIVE policies and community regulations - Individuals who can continuously manage the broadcasting activities and performance of affiliated hosts
Working conditions
- Activities as an official agency partner of BIGO Live Korea - Agency support funds are calculated based on the broadcasting performance and revenue standards of affiliated hosts - Growth bonuses for new, pro, and rookie agencies may apply - Support funds and bonuses are paid according to contract terms and platform policies - Support funds may be adjusted or contracts may be restricted in case of failure to meet the standards for affiliated hosts, violations of regulations, or fraudulent casting

Partner Application - Submit application to become an official BIGO Live Korea agency - Submit basic information such as agency name, representative information, contact details, and business information - Submit current status of hosts owned or potential recruitment personnel - 2. Basic Condition Check - Confirm whether the new agency meets the criteria - Confirm the ability to secure at least 3 hosts - Confirm whether there is an existing pool of creators and broadcasting personnel - Confirm the ability to comply with BIGO LIVE policies - 3. Operational Capability Review - Confirm recruitment capability for hosts - Confirm the ability to train and manage hosts - Confirm operational capability for broadcasting schedules, performance, and settlement guidance - Confirm the ability to prevent violations and manage risks - 4. Contract Conditions Guidance - Provide information on the agency support fund structure - Provide criteria for affiliated hosts and conditions for valid hosts - Provide information on bonuses, events, and promotional support conditions - Provide information on sanctions and contract termination conditions in case of violations - 5. Agency Contract - Review contract documents - Agree to operational policies and community regulations - Register as an official BIGO Live Korea agency - 6. Start Host Recruitment and Operations - Recruit new hosts - Manage test broadcasts and contract procedures - Manage broadcasting activities of affiliated hosts - Manage monthly performance and settlement criteria
