Responsibilities
- Localization (TEP) of game scripts in multiple languages (English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai) - Localization (TEP) of game announcements, marketing copy, banner phrases, etc. in multiple languages (English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai)
Requirements
- Individuals who can localize into multiple languages (English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai) based on an understanding of the original Korean text (native or near-native proficiency in foreign languages).
Working conditions
Review of applications → Translation test → If successful, negotiate rates and register as a freelancer.
Benefits
- Candidates must have a Korean language proficiency of TOPIK level 5 or higher. - Experience in game translation is required. - Experience in game LQA is required. - Experience using CAT tools such as Memoq and Trados is required. - Candidates should enjoy playing games (hobby is gaming). - Candidates should have a fondness for writing. - A strong interest in Korean content (webtoons, videos, K-pop, etc.) is preferred.
