  • Must meet at least one of the following requirements
  • 1Master’s degree or higher
  • 2Bachelor’s degree in Korean studies from a foreign university + at least 1 year of experience
  • 3Graduate of a tourism or history-related department at a Korean university
  • 4Graduate of a junior college or higher and holder of a Korean tourism interpreter-guide license

  • 1At least 5 Korean workers enrolled in employment insurance for 3+ months
  • 2Foreign hires make up no more than 20% of Korean employees

  • General travel agencies that are registered for tourism business and have attracted an average of over 2,000 foreign tourists over the past 2 years (certificate issued by the Korea Tourism Association), or have equivalent performance
