Eligible Applicants & Visa Types
1) General Job Seeking (D-10-1), Top Talent (D-10-T)
- ①Those seeking a job in order to work under the status of Professor (E-1), Foreign Language Instructor (E-2), Researcher (E-3), Technology Transfer (E-4), Professional (E-5), Arts & Performance (E-6), or Specially Designated Activities (E-7) ※ Entertainment activities at adult entertainment establishments, etc. (E-6-2) under the E-6 status are excluded
- ②Also includes training or working as an intern at a company or organization while receiving an allowance
2) Technology Startup Preparation (D-10-2)
- ①All preparatory activities related to a startup, such as participating in the startup immigration education program, preparing and filing patent applications for intellectual property rights, and preparing to establish a corporation
- ②Those preparing a technology startup as a corporate founder recognized by the Minister of Justice (technology startup immigrant) under the Corporate Investment (D-8) status, i.e., a person with a bachelor's degree or higher who holds intellectual property rights or equivalent technological capabilities
3) High-Tech Internship (D-10-3)
- ①Internship activities in high-tech fields under an internship employment contract with a company (institution) meeting the requirements set by the Minister of Justice

Period of Stay
- 1) The period of stay is granted in units of up to 1 year
- 2) The period of stay can be extended by applying for an extension, up to a maximum of 3 years, granted differently depending on conditions
