Visa Overview
This visa allows you to work in by the Korean government. The need to work in Korea must be approved by the government, and companies need this visa to directly hire the workers they want.

Period of Stay
- 1) Generally 3 years
- 2) Exceptionally up to 5 years for top talent recommended by the competent ministry or KOTRA, and for those working in regions designated by the Korean government for regional development. (Visa issuance )

Activities Outside Status of Stay
- 1) As long as it does not violate the original purpose of stay, you may receive education at regular educational institutions (elementary, middle, high school, and university) without a separate permit.
- 2) E-7-1 holders may give lectures at universities.
- 3) Spouses of E7 holders may work in occupations other than D-3, E-9, etc. (Allowed until the spouse's period of stay expires, and can be extended.)
