E-7-4 Visa Overview
E-7-4 (Skilled Worker) is a type of E-7 visa available to workers who have worked in Korea for 4 years or more under statuses such as E-9 (non-professional employment), E-10 (seafarer employment), or H-2 (working visit) and who meet the age, education, certificate, and wage requirements. As of 2024, up to 35,000 visas can be issued each year. Companies can hire skilled workers, and workers can stay in long-term employment.

1) Employer recommendation: 12,000
- Recommendation from the company where the worker has been employed for 1 year or more
2) Central government ministry recommendation: 9,650
- Ministry of Employment and Labor (manufacturing) 3,650, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (root industries) 1,900, Ministry of Agriculture (agriculture and livestock) 1,600, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (fishing, coastal shipping) 600, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (construction) 300
3) Metropolitan local government recommendation: 5,500
- After switching to E-7-4, the worker must stay within that metropolitan local government's area for 2 years or more
4) Flexible allocation: 7,850
