Once the Employment Permit has been issued, the recruitment process proceeds according to the recruitment method selected during the Employment Permit application. The labor contract process is entrusted to the Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea).

  Employment Center Recommendation Method

  

  The Employment Center recommends three foreign workers, from which the company selects suitable candidates.

• 2)

  Direct Selection Method

  

  After accessing the Employment24 website, select three candidates, obtain final approval from the Employment Center, and complete the hiring process within two hours.

The employment contract is handled by HRD Korea.

  One copy of the Delegated Application for Foreign Worker Recruitment, One copy of the Business Registration Certificate (or Agricultural Management Entity Registration Confirmation)

  Payment

  

  Includes administrative processing fees, such as post-arrival job training costs. (The fee must be paid within three days of notification. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the application.)

  Employment Contract Procedure

    The working conditions specified in the Employment Permit application are drafted into a standard employment contract and sent to the sending country’s agency via HRD Korea.

    The sending country’s agency confirms the job seeker’s intent to sign the employment contract, finalizes the standard employment contract, and sends it back.

    If there are discrepancies in working conditions or errors in the foreign job seeker’s information, HRD Korea verifies and amends the employment contract for final confirmation.

    Within 14 days of the employment contract’s conclusion, the employer must send the visa issuance acknowledgment application documents by registered mail.
