If a foreign worker resigns after working for more than 1 year and departs permanently, the employer should report the departure to the Employment Support Center of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and submit the necessary documents to Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. Claims can also be made after departure.
Provides protection against wage arrears. Employers are required to enroll within 15 days from the start of the employment contract.
Employers not covered by the Wage Claim Guarantee Act. Employers with fewer than 300 employees at the workplace.
Employers must sign an insurance agreement at an employment training institution and pay the insurance fee in cash (via account transfer).
Foreign workers must report wage arrears to the Employment Guidance Division of the Ministry of Employment and Labor for verification.
Wage arrears must be reported to the Employment Support Center of the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Submit the necessary documents to Seoul Guarantee Insurance to process the claim.
