Watching a YouTube video is easy. But do you actually learn from it?

Hello! I hope it’s okay to post here.

One of the reasons I started building LinKo was personal: even as a native Korean speaker, I still get small Korean grammar details wrong more often than I’d like to admit.

I noticed this most when watching educational content on YouTube. I’d think I understood a useful video about Korean phrasing, only to realize later that I hadn’t retained enough of it to actually use in real life (so maybe my Korean isn’t as good as I thought).

When I talked to other Korean learners, I found many were running into the same problem. They wanted to improve their Korean through YouTube without relying completely on subtitles, but still struggled to catch the nuances and retain what they learned.

That gap between watching something and actually learning from it is a big part of why we built LinKo.

LinKo is a tool for learning from YouTube. You paste in a YouTube link, and it turns the video into learning material you can revisit, review, and learn from more effectively.

A few days after launch, we reached around 600 signups and started getting thoughtful feedback from early users. We’re still early, but I’d truly love to hear any feedback, suggestions, or critiques.

If you’re curious, you can check it out here: https://linko-client-liart.vercel.app

There’s also still an early coupon available for new users.

Happy to answer any questions.

P.S. I’m usually just reading here, so thanks for letting me share this.
