D-4 Visa

This guide outlines the procedure for overseas students to obtain a D-4-1 visa (the same applies for D-4-7) and enter Korea. Students staying in Korea on a C-3-1 visa can participate in language training for up to 90 days but must apply for a visa change thereafter.

Preparing for Study Abroad

Check the admission guidelines of your desired language institute and apply accordingly. If you are considering pursuing a study abroad program (D-2), it is recommended to apply to a language institute affiliated with the same university.
