The EPS (Employment Permit System) evaluates various factors, including Korean language proficiency, functional skills, and job-specific abilities, to select highly qualified individuals based on their overall competencies. Final results are announced on the COLAB website in Vietnam (http://colab.gov.vn/). As of 2023, the competition rate is approximately 2:1. Evaluation results are provided to Korean companies for recruitment purposes.

  Eligibility Criteria

  • 1)

    Must be between 18 and 39 years old.

  • 2)

    No convictions with imprisonment or above.

  • 3)

    No history of forced deportation or expulsion from Korea.

  • 4)

    No history of forced deportation or expulsion from Korea.

  • 5)

    Must not have resided in Korea for more than 5 years under E-9 (non-professional employment) or E-10 (seafarer employment) visas.

    Must not have other reasons prohibiting departure.

    Candidates scoring 80 points or higher are shortlisted.The top scorers, equivalent to twice the number of final positions, proceed to the second round.
