The EPS (Employment Permit System) evaluates various factors, including Korean language proficiency, functional skills, and job-specific abilities, to select highly qualified individuals based on their overall competencies. Final results are announced on the COLAB website in Vietnam (http://colab.gov.vn/). As of 2023, the competition rate is approximately 2:1. Evaluation results are provided to Korean companies for recruitment purposes.

Candidates scoring 80 points or higher are shortlisted.The top scorers, equivalent to twice the number of final positions, proceed to the second round.
Only those who pass the first test are eligible to take the second test.
