  Foreign Local Governments with MOUs with Korean Local Governments

  • 1)

    Applicants recommended by overseas local governments that have signed MOUs with Korean local governments. Residents of the overseas local government (must have resided in the area for at least 6 months as of the visa application date).

    Minimum of 1 year of work experience in agriculture or fisheries.

  • 3)

    Aged 25 to 50 years.

  • 4)

    Exceptional Qualifications:

    Applicants aged 19 or older may also qualify if they meet the following:

    Immediate family members or cousins (including spouses) residing in the marriage migrant's home country.

    Each marriage migrant may sponsor up to 20 individuals annually.

    Definition of Marriage Migrants

    Individuals with tuberculosis, syphilis, or other infectious diseases. Drug users.
