  Eligibility for Recommendation

  Foreign workers with a history of at least 113 days of seasonal work in Korea.

  Recommendation Procedure

  Recommendations are typically made before the worker's visa expiration and departure but can also be done after departure.

    The current employer submits a re-entry recommendation letter to the local government.

    The local government issues a re-entry recommendation confirmation letter and applies for a visa issuance certificate from the relevant immigration office.

    Workers who receive a recommendation can obtain a visa and re-enter Korea at any time.

    If re-entering within 6 months of departure, the worker is exempted from submitting certain visa application documents, including a medical examination certificate, tuberculosis diagnosis certificate, and criminal record certificate from their home country.
