        • The cost is borne by the employer and the training period is recognized as working hours. Employers may receive partial support for training costs through the Employment Insurance Skills Development Program.

        • During the training period, both workers and employers are required to enroll in insurance. Workers proceed with individual insurance enrollment based on instructions provided by the training institution. Details on Employer Insurance Enrollment

      • Based on notifications from the employment training institution, the employer (or an authorized employee of the company) escorts the foreign worker from the institution. There is no need to separately report the start of employment to the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The employment contract signed with the foreign worker takes effect from the date of entry into Korea.
