Corporate Qualification Requirements for Employing E-7 Workers

Both the basic qualification requirements and the job-specific requirements must be met. If there are separate standards by job category, those standards take precedence over the basic requirements.

    Violation of relevant laws

    Issuance is restricted if the employing company has violations of the Immigration Control Act or the Labor Standards Act, or if the employed worker is subject to entry restrictions or has a record of past legal violations.

    Tax arrears

    Issuance is restricted if there is a history of arrears in national or local taxes.

    Minimum salary requirements

      · Required documents : Employment contract; certificate of income amount for the previous year (issued by the tax office) (required when extending the period or changing the workplace).

    Job-specific requirements

    If separate standards are applied in consideration of the job’s characteristics, those standards must be met.
