• Employer Compliance Requirements

    Local governments conduct inspections periodically, and employers must strictly adhere to the following requirements:

      • Inappropriate facilities such as plastic greenhouses, modified containers, or warehouses.

      • Heating and cooling systems, hot water shower facilities. Accommodation with essential rooms (bedroom, bathroom, etc.) and internal locking mechanisms. Cooking tools, bedding, fire extinguishers, and fire alarms.

    • Employers must enroll workers in health insurance, the National Pension, and industrial accident insurance.

      ※ If the worker is not eligible for industrial accident insurance, they must be enrolled in agricultural/fishery safety insurance as an alternative.

      • ※ Prohibited activities: Driving forklifts, operating freight trucks for shipping, distribution, or sales, etc.

    • Employers must ensure at least 75% of the total working days during the stay period (e.g., a minimum of 113 days or 904 hours for a 5-month stay).
