• Overview of the D-10 Visa

    The D-10 visa is a residence permit granted to foreigners intending to engage in job-seeking or startup preparation in Korea. It is primarily issued to international students who have graduated from Korean universities and are preparing for employment or technical startups in Korea.

        • Eligible Individuals Maximum Duration of Stay
          • Individuals who obtained an associate degree or higher from a Korean university within the past 3 years.

          • Individuals with at least 1 year of work experience at a top 500 global company within the past 3 years.

          • Graduates of a foreign university ranked among the top 200 by Time or the top 500 in the QS World University Rankings (main campus) within the past 3 years.

          • Individuals scoring 80 points or higher based on the point-based evaluation system.

          • Individuals holding or applying for patents, utility models, or design rights.

          • Individuals scoring 50 points or higher in the startup immigration point-based evaluation.

          • Participants in the K-Startup Grand Challenge who have received a recommendation for stay permit change from the NIPA (National IT Industry Promotion Agency) president.

          • Holders of intellectual property rights from OECD member countries.

          • Individuals who have completed (or are currently participating in) at least one program under the Startup Immigration Support System (OASIS).

          • Individuals who meet at least one of the mandatory criteria under the Startup Immigration Point-Based System.

        • Maximum duration of stay: 2 year

    • Foreign students with job-seeking residence status are permitted to engage in part-time work and internships.
